Big Week

Last week was a big week for our family. Nana came to visit, Lexi celebrated her 8th birthday and Larry and I celebrated our 9th anniversary. A lot has happened in 9 years. We were married on December 18th, 1999, and Lexi was born three days before our one year anniversary. We had decided to put ourselves on the 5 year plan...5 years to travel, get to know each other, etc., but I suppose God had other plans. In 5 years, we had two kids, a dog, two cats, had been assigned to 3 different posts, lived in 5 different houses and Larry began his tour of the middle east compliments of the U.S. Army. There's nothing like the fast track. Now at 9 years, we are at our 4th post, living in our 6th house, we are down to one cat and dog, and Larry has 4 deployments under his belt. Time really does fly by.
