Yesterday we went exploring in the NM desert. The trip originally began as an opportunity for me to learn to drive our jeep in off-road situations involving steep inclines, off camber angles, and moments with less than 4 tires on the ground at one time. At one of our stops, we decided to look for a geocache nearby. This cache turned into a multistage event where each spot gave you coordinates for the next one. The journey took us from one peak to the next and at one point I think we all felt like Bighorn Sheep. Although the multiple species of cacti made the ascents and descents more challenging, we had a very enjoyable day. As AJ said, "At least no one died."
