Wupatki National Monument preserves the dwellings of Anasazi and Sinaqua people. The main dwelling is called the "tall house" and was built into and on top of an outcropping of rock. It is believed to have contained 100 rooms. The main area also contains an amphitheater and ball court as well as a blowhole. I think the kids enjoyed the blowhole the most because it was constantly blowing cool air. The blowing air is the result of air inhaling and exhaling through interconnected underground cavities.
