Passing the Torch

Today we learned how to mow the backyard.  My work here is done.

AJ:  How long has dad been gone?

Me: It was a week yesterday.

AJ:  Good.  I just wanted to see how long we haven't gone crazy without dad here.

While they are bouncing around Lexi's room on the exercise balls, I hear this conversation.

AJ: Ok
