The weather today was a welcome change from the sauna to which we have become accustomed. I celebrated by opening the windows and letting the cool air circulate through the house. Mr. Whiskers pined for freedom, one step closer but just too big to make it through the window opening. He sat there making the tiniest, softest, most pitiful meow.
Bob was overcome with excitement and had to take a nap.
AJ requested Lexi's presence at pick-up today. He was all grins when he saw her with me. They spent the whole ride home chatting and bonding.
They continued the fun once we returned home. I went to check the mail and heard the gate slam and found this scene. Notice fun does not include putting your bikes back in their proper location.
They abandoned the bikes in favor of this. Sophie photobombed my picture. She might be scared of the camera but after being separated from her human for more than 30 minutes, the need to velcro herself to me was greater than her fear.
Mr. Whisker's love of the outdoors is clearly showing on his face. It's amazing how much joy he exudes.
Guess the kids wore him out.
